Proposed 2026 - 2027 WIOA Combined State Plan Modification Open for Public Comment

Wisconsin's Program Year 2024-2027 (PY 2024-2027) Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Combined State Plan, developed in consultation with the state's workforce partners, outlines the four-year strategic plan for the state's public workforce development system. WIOA requires each state submit a modification to their plan after two years.

The draft WIOA Combined State Plan modification for Program Years 2026 - 2027 is now available for public comment. All written comments regarding the proposed plan should be submitted to: WIOAComms@dwd.wisconsin.gov. Public comments will be accepted through April 17, 2026. All public comments will be reviewed prior to final submission.
