The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Roundtable is an opportunity to connect with peers who support Wisconsin job seekers and employers across multiple state agencies and programs. This is your opportunity to network with one another, hear what partner agencies are doing, learn best practices, and leave with a better understanding of how you and your colleagues can collaborate to achieve state WIOA goals.

These are some of the most highly rated presentations from the WIOA Roundtable that was held in Green Bay, Wisconsin on November 13 and 14, 2019.
Chad Dull, a longtime education/workforce leader in Western Wisconsin who is now a Vice President with Minnesota State College Southeast, provided thought-provoking insights in the area of Poverty Informed Practice, especially focusing on understanding, respecting and utilizing the strengths of our customers who face the trauma of poverty daily.
This compelling two-part presentation explores the intersections of poverty and aspects of identity such as race, ethnicity, gender, and ability. It illustrates how implicit bias can lead to inequitable support for different groups of people, and identifies strategies to uncover and address inequities.
